FAQ
What is Blue Sage Training & Safety and who do you serve?
Blue Sage Training & Safety provides high-quality emergency medical, CPR, and safety training for individuals, workplaces, and EMS professionals. We serve Carbon County and the surrounding Utah communities, offering programs that build practical skills, confidence, and readiness for real-world emergencies.
What certifications and courses do you offer?
We offer CPR, First Aid, ACLS, EMR, EMT Basic (Hybrid and Live), AEMT, wilderness medicine training, and custom workplace safety programs. All courses meet industry standards and prepare students for certification and practical emergency response.
What are the qualifications of your instructors?
Our instructors are experienced professionals with extensive backgrounds in emergency medical services. They hold the appropriate certifications for the courses they teach and are committed to delivering high-quality, practical training to every participant.
Are your programs suitable for beginners or those with no medical experience?
Yes. Our courses are designed for all experience levels, including complete beginners. We teach foundational concepts and provide hands-on practice so every student can build confidence and competence.
What if I freeze in emergencies or feel I could never do what EMS responders do?
The “freeze response” happens when someone is unsure what to do. Proper training reduces that fear by teaching clear steps, hands-on skills, and how to stay calm under pressure. When you understand what is happening and know how to respond, confidence naturally replaces fear, and you are far less likely to freeze.
Where are classes held?
